MS testing F2008 today

Just saw this on 5 news (Helen Propspero(sp?) )

They said he would like to make a come-back. What was the extra ariel on top of the on-board camera? will all the cars have it next year or is it just for testing?

He was testing the 2007 car with 2008 downforce levels, and slick tyres.

The extra ariel on top of the roll hoop is actually a pitot tube. It's just for testing.

Ah that explains it. Autosport reported that if Prodrive lose the 12th entry a customer Ferrari team is expected to get the slot. Would explain why life has been made difficult for DR
