ECU cold reset problem.

Sometimes when starting the Tamora from cold, the engine starts OK and ticks over nicely, but no display. I turn ignition off, then restart, engine starts OK, ticks over nicely and the display is back on and displaying correct data. I've notice this occuring ever since I bought the car two years ago. I have just had a new display fitted as the old one had missing line syndrome. So it must be the ECU, maybe a reset problem, or even a software problem (always blame it on the softies not getting their software right
). Has anyone had this problem.
Picked the Tamora up from Dulfords on Saturday and drove back home up the M5 and along the M4 to Chippenham in the worst conditions I have driven in for a long time. It was like driving through a car wash for two hours. The Tamora performed top trumps, no leaks, no electrical problems, the engine just ticked over doing a steady 65mph, as if to say whats all the fuss about. I passed two accidents and three breakdowns, but not a flinch with the Tamora.
Makes me feal proud of my tiv.
