T350 Sports Exhaust Wanted

Hi guys,

Just wondering if anybody on here as a sports exhaust for a T350 for sale, just want to check before I buy new.

I am looking at the super sports exhausts from TVR Power. Do I need new exahust rubbers or anything like that or do they fit on existing mounts?

People say the TVR Power ones are the loudest, I have driven a car with the JP exhaust and it wasn't that loud. How much louder is the TVR Power system?

I have the Super Sports exhaust on my T350.
It's a lot louder and pops and bangs like a good un.

I didn't need new rubbers, it was a straight swap.

I also got a 5% discount from TVR Power. Mention that other TVR owners got a discount when ordering these exhaust.

I have just replaced the exhaust on my red rose T350 and will shortly be selling the following:

1. The original factory red rose back box (on the quiet side) - I can't remember whether or not this is stainless steel.
2. A JP stainless steel back box (very loud raspy noise with plenty of pops and bangs) plus stainless steel pipework from the back box through to the cats i.e. basically a complete stainless steel system excluding the cats and the header.


When I get the chance, I'll measure the pipe diameters on 1 & 2 abover, as I think I'm right in saying that the bore sizes for the red rose cars were bigger than standard. This shouldn't really cause any problems though as you can easily get connectors to mate pipes that are different bore sizes.

I would be interested to know if the red rose has larger bore all the way to the cats as I'm thinking of a de-cat but not sure if I need larger de-cat pipes than standard and if so where would I get them?

My RR does...had to measure it up so that JP could make me up a new backbox.The one they made for me is a single backbox and looks similar to the standard from the rear although you can tell the difference....sounds a million times better though. Mine measured 2.5 inches right through to the cats...best to measure your own as the larger bore (an option) according to JP can vary with some RR's measuring 2.25". I didnt want it too loud and i find it great. Tickover is louder than standard but at low revs on the move its 'relatively' quiet. In the higher rev range now though it sounds awesome and pops and bangs on the overun...best £500 ive spent !
