Yes,you are true, just measured another one to compare, only the oil capacity change, 4,5 liter!
To have some more clearance, only the dry sump pan and installation is better I think.

or perhaps you can try a caterham or westfield specialist like James Whiting
I have seen on the blatchat that He has sold some alloy sump(not cheap I think) to have some more clearance on crossflow engined caterham, but not found on his website, try a mail .
