Best place to buy wheels?

..genuine ones. My 535D seems to munch rims, it`s cracked several and now I`ve got a buckled front that is leaking air. Wheels are standard M-Sport 18 inchers.

Firstly, is this common (and are they crap). Secondly, anyone know if they can be bought at a discount from anywhere (other than my annoying dealer)?

I had a cracked 18" wheel on my 330d. Ended up having to get one from a dealer (£300+) as I was off to France a couple of days after and couldn't wait for one to come in the post.

If you don't want to pay dealer prices, the only real alternative is getting one off eBay, but do make sure it's a genuine wheel (as replicas tend to be heavier).

Thanks for the suggestions but it looks like there are no alternatives. New one ordered (at £330) via the stealer.

I have to say that I`ve never had so much tyre/wheel trouble until I entered the land of the run-flat...

You could go for better wheels than those ers!!!

I went to Rondell and got some 17's for my 318is and they were the best wheels i EVER had!!

Alpina wheels are the way to go! Ditch the runflats and go back to proper tyres.

Out of interest what happens if the run flats are ditched and non standard rims fitted to the E60 5 series?

Will the tyre pressure sensor warning not stay on all the time?
