Hmmm, my wipers park fine... except the sweep seems to be just slightly more than the windscreen

This means that, from parked, they sweep and then park, say, 3 inches back into the return sweep. Then (in intermittent) they sweep again and this time they do what it thinks is a full sweep (but it's already 3 inches into the sweep) and then add the extra 3 inches, making them park 6" away from park, and so on.

It's bloody annoying as half the time they are parking right in the line of sight.

Is this just a park switch issue, or something else? It seems to me like a wrong part has been fitted somewhere meaning that the mechanism is slightly out on a full rotation.

Anybody had this before? Any ideas?

mine does exactly the samr i suspect its a park switch problem but not got round to fixing it yet

yep almost definitely the park swithc, mine did the same until I replaced it.

does the park switch also affect the intermittment wipe? mine is all over the shop....or windscreen...at the moment.

That's pretty much what mine is doing. In intermittent it just stops all over the place, but it's predictable. My sweep seems to be a sweep and a bit, so it gains a few inches each sweep.

If yours just stops randomly on intermittent, then I'd imagine it's basically the same problem and the park switch needs looking at.
