My rear reg' plate fell off somewhere between Watford and Northampton on Saturday. I can't drive the car atm and I really want to try out the new Protechs.

So,

a. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement back-lit plate?

b. What documents do I need to supply, is it just log book?

c. If anyone finds the old one, could you email me?smile

I think I'll have to get a temp one from Hal-I-don't-have-a-clue-fords until I can get a proper one.

Thanks for any help

Try: Fancy Plates they are in N Ireland, and as such, they are exempt from the rules governing number plates in the UK, just mark the plate as Backlit TVR.

Might be worth reporting the loss to the BIB, just in case someone finds it and uses it inappropriately.

Thanks everyone.

Think I'll try Fancy Plates cause I can have a sloganbiggrin

Suggestions now please:

My thoughts are:

1. Beware! Likely to cause heart failure

2. If you can read this, I've broken down. Call the AA

3. My penis is already big, this just makes it huge

4. If this has been caught by a scamera. UP YOURS!!

5. I only race on track

6. If you have a BMW, you're not worth the petrol

7. Of course it's loud, it's a TVR

8. Beware! Likely to spit flames

9. Not for those of a nervous disposition

10. It's a TVR and we'll be back

11. Ok, I'm a sad git and I need a slogan

12. This car was designed, engineered and built in England

Edited to say, good point about the BiB, I'll report it asap, cheers

got mine from fancyplates, happy with it.

I took out the bulb holders and cleaned them while at it, replaced bulbs with superbright LED ones and lined the number plate recess behind the plate with tin foil while I was at it to help get as much as possible light to the back of the plate.

Any decent sign-making company should be able to sort you out, probably within an hour or so.

Just ask them to make it out of "lightbox" material.

I quite like the quote from the Hindu scripture the Bhagavad Gita "I am become death, the destroyer of worlds". Perhaps a little pompous.

Thanks everyone for your help thumbup I've ordered it from Fancy plates with all the trimmings except a slogan, I think I'll get bored of that too quickly.
