About three years ago I had the 16" spider wheel and brake upgrade fitted, it came with Bridgestone SO2's and all was well with the world. Then I replaced the Bidgestones with Toyo T1r's which have been around a second a lap quicker over the average sprint course this season BUT The rears just foul the very inner lip of the wheel arch with the shoulder of the tyre when the suspension is under full load ( dips and bumps)Thus the smell of burning rubber! Have tried changing ride height and suspension settings to no avail and so am considering changing rear tyre size to 235x50x16 from 245x45x16 ( original rears before wheel upgrade were 225x55x16 - And leaving the fronts at 225x45x16 ( originally 205x55x15 )
Anyone got any views or experience or any other suggestions?
