After having two weeks of madness and thinking it was time to move on to something else, I have came to my senses and realised sitting in my garage, I have one of the most thrilling and inspiring cars ever made.

Why change cloud9

you would have struggled to replace one that tidy when you realised your mistake... smilethumbup

The only option is to expand the fleet now.

I was well pissed off of mine for a while but, now that I've sold the Skyline, I'm back sorting the annoying little details that need doing and I certainly plan on enjoying it again to the full in '08.

I'm in the process of fitting Powerflex bushings at the moment and, even though it's only partly done, I reckon it's going to be another improvement so it can only get better from here.

Now why am I having a mental picture of a money-pit when I type something like that?

Expanding the fleet sounds good to me, although the better half isn't thinking along the same lines

Know what you mean.

Steadily getting mine back up together since I bought her back 18+ months ago. Full respray, refurbed Alloys, Ohlins, new drop links, new coolant pipes, new battery, starter, rear tyres and numerous attempts to fix my rough running - which was finally fixed by replacing my CATs with a linked Decat pipe (hence a blocked CAT) and all amongst others like Leven Wipers and heel plates etc.

But what a difference. And what a car!

Cerb ownership is high's and low's - no middle ground. Right now, mine is on a mighty high.

It's not on the car yet.

I've wire-brushed it and painted it with Galvafroid and it's in the garage.

Once I get the suspension and brakes finished it'll be the next job to be done.

It was just handy to collect it the day my colleague was near you.
