Web Cam reommendations please

I'm looking for a couple of webcams for elderly relatives to keep in touch. I started looking at Amazon and after finding myself looking at a Microsoft one, though it's about time to ask for help!

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Just noticed this thread was a 2007 post .
Anyway for the sake of V8, I always buy Logitech. Never had a problem with them. Good quality and compats with all software I've ever come across.
