For some unknown reason my cd / radio has stopped working on the comms pack -not sure why. The left hand-side button which you normally use to switch the cd player on/off with feels fine and was ok yesterday.

When I put the TV on / connected my phone I also got no sound out of the speakers?

Any ideas?

Push the left hand button, and the little light above it should come on?

Best thing is to hard reset the car. i.e. take the +ve and -ve cables OFF the battery and touch together. You have to put the time and date and stuff back in but it seems to be the only way to encourage the system out of it's occasional freezes.

This is advise only - it works for me - you might want to ring a stealer before you do the same.

Hi - good to hear you got it sorted. I had a similar issue - I just pulled the fuse for the radio out of the fuse box and re-positioned it and voilà - sounds again! Saves disconnecting and re-connecting the battery just in case it happens again in the future!

Thanks will bear that in mind next time - it may be easier than messing around with the trim to get to the battery!

Excellent. I find this happens quite regularly, it's the downside of having TV/CD/SatNAV/BluetoothPhone/iPod all going through one box. It copes remarkably well considering!

Its fine. You just have to invest a bit of time getting your map up to date and them sorting perspective view. It is then easily better than a tom tom.

I also just took the fuse out, bit of an arc putting it back in, problem solved.
