Tamora Fans not working

Just picked up my new Tamora today,I was told that the radiator fans not kicking in, could this be a fuse or something simple? Also whats the normal water temperature for this weather, it was running at 75c on motorway and 90 in traffic without fans working?Any comments please.

Not sure of the technicals, but if it helps, my fans dont kick in until about 92 to 95 deg. Operating temp, in current chilly conditions, sounds about right. Oil temp will also take longer to warm and you may struggle to get it above 70 on a motorway... so warm it up carefully.

Fans now working thanks to Track V road,Steve sorted it whilst I had a coffee. The fault was the water temperature sensor, which was corroded, a new one fitted at a cost of few pounds.An interesting point was that the temperature displayed on the dash screen was 9C above the computer reading.May have to get it recalibrated.

Not unusual and gives a nice safety margin (not so clever if the oil temp is the same).

Its also a quick, easy and cheap diy repair if it happens again. I keep a spare sensor just in case

Just found out the real reason for the fans not working properly. I unclipped both plastic junction connectors and found the spade terminals totally greened up,I put this down to excess coolant in the header tank just blowing out onto the electrics.They are very difficult to clean with emery due to access.Wouldnt mind replacing the wiring and terminals at the same time.
