Paul, my brother went on a walk at about 8AM at Pistonfest to take a few photo's of the cars whilst no-one was about. As a CS fan this included yours
Got home and downloaded the pics........is that a head and a sleeping bag I can see in on the parcel shelf
Brilliant
So come on, what have you gone for?

RobP it just shows how practical the CS is,far easier than pitching a tent. After the Saturday night,a few beers with the Porker boys and more than a little assistance from Tony996hasgone,I am suprised I managed to sleep in rather than under the car!
I'm surprised you mananged to find it

Very useable spec for the UK..essentially comfort without the RSR bodykit,,personally prefer regular RS spoiler, leave the big wing on the GT2.
The car is gloss black,as a comfort it has A/c and electric windows,,,but the good news is that it has the correct red backed recaro buckets.
The speedlines and S02 are in good condition and there don't appear to be any suspension clonks!
The electric windows suit me on a lhd car in the UK and proved a great help at the Dartford crossing on the way home.
The car is sound, but not exactly what I was looking for, long tax & Mot should keep me going for a while.
Initial impressions are Ok ,it goes well enough, however I think it needs the alignment set up correctly, that and the fact that is my first lhd car in the UK do not inspire confidence, even though a return to the small size of the old 911 is very welcome.
Hope to get it into my techie to re-align in the next couple of weeks.

Was this the nice black one advertised on these here pages recently? Another shot in the arm for PetrolTed's empire if it was.
Anyway, when you say 'not exactly what you were after' do you mean that you would have preferred more of a snarling hardcore track bitch, without AC etc.?
LHD takes a little while to adjust to, perhaps a few days to a week, but soon becomes natural.
Congrats anyway

Cheers Dom,,,,i was very tempted by a silver rhd RSR kit one,,,but missed a lower mileage silver comfort in this months Pork post.....the deal worked out so I sort of ended up with it!
You can feel the track minx in it anyhow,,thing is I get the train to work so only need a car to go to the Gym in a couple of times a week and maybe 5 trackdays a year....so don't need any thing too excessive really.

All is fine now...in fact nothing short of a revelation!!!
I was not happy with the supposedly legendary handling of the new toy,,,I checked the tyre pressures and found them all to be around 32 apart from the nearside rear which was 24....no wonder I was not happy with the handling.
I set the fronts at 32 rears at 36 and it now more than lives up to expectations.
I have now driven 120 odd miles since I picked the car up,so LHD is actually quite fun now.
The handling and brakes are SO over engineered it is incredible,I now find myself having to turn round and go round roundabouts again....On the brakes, second gear ...let the LSD do it's thing and off...I cannot wait to have a crack at the Goodwood chicane in this car.
I was genuinely a little miffed with the car,but that was my ignorance and inexperience,,,I think I may be keeping this one more than a few weeks!
Rob...it sounds great,,,purposeful up to 4000rpm,,,from 4-7000 rpm it sounds like someone is playing the le-mans DVD from the back of the car.
