What have you guys down to rust proof your chassis and running gear?

I was thinking of using expansion filler foam in conjunction with waxoil to ensure no additional moisture gets in to the framework, does this sound like a reasonable idea (as I haven't tried it yet)?

Also, is it worthwhile looking at some spray deflection inside the wheel arches, anyone consider/try this?

Cheers,

Rob.

After trying expanding foam on a boat project (delboy boat) I would never use it again. Fine at the start but it absorbs water over time. Much better to waxoil and have some air to dry out!
