The most likely servo-related problem is doing the adjuster up too tight so the transfer port doesn't open. That'll lock the brakes on when they warm up.

The brake pedal becomes really hard to push after the disks have warmed up, as if the servo wont release?

Sounds like the adjuster is done up too tight then. You need to adjust the pushrod between the servo and the master cylinder so that the master cylinder piston can come back far enough to open the transfer port. One way to check that it's come back far enough is to push the piston back in one of the callipers. If the calliper won't move, the transfer port is still closed which indicates the pushrod is adjusted too long. (This can also happen because of gunk or bad wear in the master cylinder but incorrect adjustment is the first thing to check.)

In which case someones been playingrolleyeshave seen this one a few times where someone as done this to cure excess brake pedal traveleekwhen the real problem as been worn brake pads or incorrectly adjusted drum brakes(not on this car thoughbiggrin)when the car does the brake binding thing slacken the two bolts securing the master cylinder to the servo unit,if this free,s the brake binding then the centre pushrod needs winding in a tad,as said previously this should not be the problem unless someone as been playing or you have recently changed the master cylinder(some pattern parts can do this)this should not need touching normally, check the brake lamp switch is set correctly, because this can also hold the brake pedal in the down position slightly causing the problem you have, check the pedal is returning fully also.
