Sorry to ressurect the locked thread but I think Proplus has tried and is unable to appeal for some reason.
ANyway he said this in a PM to me on another site:
"I apologised and said that if I realised it was a ban for such content that I had posted in jest, etc I wouldn't have done it, asked what happened to sin binning as the official warning and got nothing back... Net result I have been banned after 4ish years, no warning just shown the door"
Go on let him back
(and dont ban me for being annoying please)

This prompted me to read the (now locked) thread, seeing as I can't comment on that one I'll do it here.
This is still a great place, I have commented on other sites (that I rarely visit) that they could learn a lot from the way PH is moderated.
We are all human, opinion seems to indicate that a mistake has been made here, why not review the decision and allow PP back?

Firstly, Ted, sorry for opening such a can of worms ... but i am sure that ProPlus has had a heart-warming experience from it as he lurks

but seriously, i did not expect that much response, i just dropped a question as i realised he had vanished then was told by another mate that he had been "wiped out" of PH for the now identified crime.
Anyway, i have had an email from young ProPlus as a response to your last post on the original "Free the Canary Wharf One" thread so i will quote

Given that its Friday and i imagine that the chip shops have got th eoil up to temperature and are doing the first rounds of Cod and Chips for the lunchtime rush (with the odd battered saussage or pukka pie on the side) ...... How is the hunger strike going?!?!
ProPlus seems to be in a quandry from the comunique's that i have had.
Garlic tells him that he needs to petition Ted, and Ted tells him the same of Garlic so .... seems to be a rather well greased buck this one!!

all i can say is to wish the "Canary Wharf One" the best of luck on his appeal, and hopefully he will be getting out of D wing of the Maze shortly
