Nitron Settings

I fitted Nitron’s to my car last night,I am getting a full geo done as soon as I can.
Can anyone tell me what they have got there Nitron’s set at (front/rear) for road use, I set mine to 11 clicks from hard all round as a starting point.

Thats a good starting point. What spring ratings have you got front and rear. And what ride height are you running at from where the thread starts.

Not sure of the spring rate, or the ride height. They are the standard set up direct for Nitron for the T350. I didn't go for the Eibach springs.

I will be getting the geo, ride height & Corner weights done as soon as I can.

I only drove the car into work this morning so haven’t had chance to analyze any difference.

Which Nitrons do you guys go for?
Do you drop the ride height or just go for the damping improvement?
I have the 3 way "tracks" on my supercharged S2000.
I planned fitting the same to the T350 I'm looking for.

I currently run them 8 from full hard and midway on the rebound.

Depends what your using your car for, If its track then your ride height will depend somewhat on the type of track. Brands, Cadwell for example have high compression but snets or croft have low. Your ride height needs to be adjusted to suit. I try to maintain about 50mm between tyre and arch which is about 175mm rear 128mm for me. But then that depends on spring rating, I run 4oo rear 450 front. Your rebound settings depend on the weather but 10/12 is a good start.

I use the car mainly for fast road use, I did 6 track days last year. I got the Nitrons to enable the car to cope with the Welsh country roads a little better, the car defiantly feels more controlled/ sure footed with the Nitrons fitted.

Not had a chance to fiddle with the settings yet, will get the ride height set when I get the geo done. I don't think I will be fiddling with the ride height once it is set, I don't do enough track days (plus I’m not a good enough driver to make use of the changes) to warrant fiddling the ride height.

I will have to have a look at the spring rates, The car is defiantly higher with the Nitrons fitted (The car was set up to the old ride height settings, very very low at the front).

Do you have the front and rear damper settings the same?? (or front softer than rear)

Changing the ride height will change the suspension geometry so don't change it unless you're prepared to reset the geometry afterwards.

Always keep a record of what you have done so as you can back track. What we are talking about is not a science that some would lead you to believe, There is no book as there are to many anomaly's. Have a play in small increments but always know how to back track. Obviously the best place to have a fiddle is on a track.
