Rear Screen Seal - Source please

Has anyone out there replaced the seal around the body work/interior for the back screen.

No matter what I do with the position of the rear screen I alwasy have a small gap on one side.

I hope that changing the seal will fix this problem.

Had this done some years ago on my previous Tuscan, by the factory service department not an easy job I was told.The replacement was much better though with no gaps.

Racing Green fitted a new rear screen seal in mine in October. No gaps, snug fit, very pleased!

...and not that expensive either although I can't remember exactly how much.

Is the gap between the screen and seal?

If so could you not get the larger rear screen from clever trevor?

I know prob more expensive but the later cars came with it i think and also mitigates the screen blowing out at high speeds I am told - Autoban obviously!

If the seals aren't torn or damaged I would advise you to get a new rear screen, as has been said it is a far better fit and you will have no gaps around the edge that can cause watter damage or wind noise.

Even better do both!!

I'm always good at advising other people to spend money!!

I enquired about some new seals last week and was told there is a problem sourcing them.That was for the door seal maybe differant for the seal your after.They have been using another type but are not happy with the fit.
Maybe better getting a new screen.
