Got my first UK track day on Sunday, Donnington anyone going?

The question is, what is 98 db ?

I have a series 1 elise with a induction kit and aftermarket exhaust,
Will this be too loud?

Where can i test it?

Cheers

Gav.

Ps are there any online free 'how to drive Donnington' packs

I did my first track day at Donington last year, I had a brilliant day, you'll love it!

When I went there was a car in particular that they pulled off, man, that was LOUD. They must have facilities there, I would have thought, to test.

Plenty of people from our car forum go on track, they have tc/sc, induction kits and exhausts and there's never been any problems. Although I'm sure someone else will be able to give you a more definitive answer.

A mate and I are thinking of doing at least one track day next year. I know my car is quiet enough but his has a loud exhaust, which was a worry. We just went along to spectate at a day at Oulton, during a quiet spell he explained to the organiser he was worried about noise, they just tested it for him there and then, free of charge. Very friendly.
