Spotted near Petersfield: 2 McLaren F1's

Had a half day today, to do some Xmas shopping,you know how it is. Just coming through the back lanes near Petersfield, coming the other was was a Black Mclaren F1 GTR! ,then a coupe of seconds later another one, but in full Gulf livery!

Im guessing they were on their way down to Goodwood, as it's only about 10 minutes from where I passed them.

One of the two I've seen on the road was in Petersfield. That was XP5 iirc, back in about '94. Great roads out that way

The Black F1 must be the same car, but it was with the Gulf one, not the Harrods one this time
Maybe I'll catch all 3 together if I'm lucky!

Often F1s about the Petersfield area Tiff lives in Harting and he often uses one for road tests and all that
I live on A272 so good place to spot cars on the way to Goodwood

Yes Petersfield Motor Company and also Horndean Motor Company Would be good to sort out a local group of Piston heads we use the site from work all the time and always have interesting cars in stock

Sorry, been a while but I've noticed the odd TVR and other nice car in and about. I live just down the road but go to Travis Perkins often with the job so drive by regularly.

Not looking for a car yet but when I am I'll drop in to see what's lurking.

You do see quite a few TVRs around here due to the garage in Fernhurst. I drive a TVR and live in Midhurst, its a lovely run along the A272 to Petersfield though!
