Usual coincidence - M3 E46 car was fine and had to get it serviced (inspection 2 + brake fluid) and took it to my local specialist yesterday and today I've noticed that my park distance control is constantly sounding as soon as the semi-automatic box is clicked into reverse (continuous tone).

As I reverse and approach an object there is a slight interruption of the tone before it continues again.

Didn't have to use reverse until today otherwise I would obviously have mentioned it to the specialist there and then.

So any ideas on what is causing this? Is this an easy fix?

Thank you.

My parking sensors went bananas.. and still do occasionally, its usually due to a spider building a house in the recesses....

Clean them properly.. they will be fine... make sure you clean all of them... !
