It is indeed Tim Lamonts old SEAC. I had a good look at it a few months ago. What I found was as follows:
Body:
It is infact 1/2 kevlar - despite the advert saying full kevlar. Tim Lamont confirmed this for me. The body is very "ripley" in appearance and in my humble opinion, it needs a full respray. It has 16" Tuscan racing rims all round which are in reasonable but by no means perfect condition. The hood was reasonably good with a couple of snags on the corners but nothing major. The outriggers were in an atrocious state.
Interior:
Dash is a very rare carbon fibre example that looks a bit home made but I believe this is how it came out the factory. The seats are past their best but still serviceable, the carpets are very tatty and need replacing.
Engine:
I was put off by a misfire that happened at about 4k revs. And the engine kept cutting out. I believe the immobiliser kept cutting in. Other than that, at low revs, the engine appeared sweet enough.
Other:
The car has been stored outside for quite a while under a taylor made outdoor cover.
The car did have a file of history. Not too much - but enough.
Please note this was a few months ago. The car may well have some areas sorted out and some of the problems may have been rectified. What I have written above is strictly in my own opinion and others may have different opinions.
All in all, I thought it was a little tatty, but at the end of the day, it is a SEAC…
