Does Tom Tom's TMC Traffic Work?

Does anyone have any experience of Tom Tom's TMC receivers?

I've heard so much negative stuff about TT's TMC system I wonder if it works?

I keep thinking about subscribing to this, but everytime I get the urge to do it, I read that it's not ready yet, doesnt work properly etc so I never bother. Would also be interested to hear if anyone's got it working (properly)

And another thing - I'm guessing if TMC's working, my Parrot handsfree isnt going to like it

My wife uses it on our Go 500 and it does work - but she is using Tom Tom's own TMC via her mobile phone and a sub to Tom Tom as opposed to the TMC version using the FM receiver.
