Can't get her started
Discussion
Batterys been dead for about three weeks bought some decent leads but the car won't start tried jumping it off a large van but nothing.
All I'm getting is the car electrics working fine but no turn over sounds like it could be the starter and I know the weather dont help.
When the battery completely dies is there a procedure with the alarm to maybe fully disarm again?
Cheers guys

what actually happens when you turn the key? Is the fuel pump priming? (the buzzing you can hear when you turn off the imobilisor) Do you get a click from the starter motor? If not it might be an imobilisor problem, try Carl Baker www.tvruk.tv
If you are just getting a click from the starter and the fuel pump is priming, it might be a bad starter motor or not enough current when jumping the car. Remember to hold the doner car at about 3000rpm for about 3 minutes and keep at that rpm before you turn the key on the Tuscan.
Or check the ignition fuse, it might have blown.
Good luck

Dont remember hearing the fuel pump prime so your right it could be the immobiliser although when turning the key and disarming all the electrics come to life so possibly not the fuse.
I'll have another check to make sure and go over the fuses if no luck I'll give Carl a call tomorrow.
Thanks
