E38 4:3 to 16:9 nav upgrade ?

its not that easy actually
problem is getting a RHD wide lcd unit
dont let ANYONE tell you that RHD and LHD 16:9 alpine units are the same for E38
even if they are prepared to stake their house on it, they are WRONG
for a RHD E38 you need a RHD 16:9 screen which basically you aren't gonna get on teh used market because they are rarer than an Esprit Sport 300. So you'll have to get a LHD screen or an E39 screen and then cut out some of your air conditioning ducting to allow it to fit. The part numbers by themselves are also a total nightmare... dont even think about trying to work out teh various part numbers listed on ebay. Most of them do not show up on realOEM and its pot luck most of the time.
