*Flame suit on* Spotted - yellow facelift ro on m6 south
Discussion
On my 1200km drive home from Germany today in the wee Corsa and I finally spotted a ro out on the roads (yes it has taken me this long to see another one other than at the meets etc)...
Yellow facelift heading south on M6 just outside of Birmingham around 2pm or so, no point in flashing as I was heading north and that mere act would have drained half the available power from the hairdrier my Corsa runs under the bonnet

1200km in a corsa, I have trouble doing 140mile round trip in mine every other weekend without falling asleep!
I made sure to spec the wee bugger with cruise control before it arrived last month and a few other gadgets to help keep me from going mad in it...
I don't half miss the power when I put my right foot down though, but seeing almost 50mpg when I arrived back in Glasgow this evening was a nice sight to see

Should have bought A signum Baz. Got one 3 weeks ago and get 50mpg from the 1.9 diesel and it has the comfort of the Monaro
Well pleased with it as a second car even though it is the wifes
Yeah I used to have a 150PS Mk5 Astra hatch with the same engine and could get around 50-54mpg if I behaved, but me being me I had it left with a tuner and it came back with the sport button on the dash giving me 207.9 instead of the old 150, so you can guess whether or not I drove with it on or off after that
I was going to go for another of the CDTI hatches, but the whole cost of moving country and trying to get settled in meant the budget was cut quite a bit, and the new Corsas are actually quite good fun to drive, even if the steering wheel on mine is on the left hand side
