I have longingly admired wedges from afar for quite some time, and have just about managed to convince the wife that it would be great for weekends etc, as a second car.

My main worry is that at 6'4" and 19st, am I likely to fit!

Any comments (except the "diet, you fat ba$%&*d") welcomed.

I think it would be a very tight squeeze..
maybe too tight.

My mate is about 18st and about 6ft and is OK
- most TVR's have good head roof as Peter Wheeler
insists that he fits and he's 6ft 6...

I think you might fit, go to a meet and ask someone with a wedge if you can try it out.

Hi Pedro. If it helps, I am 6'1 and a half (185 CM)and 19 stone. I fit but a slightly smaller steering wheel may help - my beer belly is paid for but my legs are the last muscles I have left. I have got used to it now though. It will seem cramped to start with.

Thanks for the replies. I can live with a less room than I would normally like, and the smaller steering wheel sounds like a good idea.

LOL - I have a similar "problem" and am currently looking for a Chimera.

I look at it this way - because of my size I'm a "snug" fit so when getting enthusiastic we won't get thrown about inside the vehicle like all them skinny gits!!!

Maybe so but us less "weighty" owners must have the better power to weight ratio!

There is a Midlands meet at the Bulls head on the 20th of July. I'm going to try and get there. If your local you can try getting in mine.

Hence why I want a 450 over a 400... ;-)

Second time in 2 days made reference to the beer container (as per wedge sounds thred) - someone must be telling me something.. well I can confirm that as a 6'3"er @ 19st I find the 400 more comfortable than a Chim.. something about being snug and as one with the car I'd guess - I don't have a smaller steering wheel and find it perfectly ok - as for power to weight - just have to run @ 1/2 tank and stop for top-ups more regularly

Thanks for the offer. A bit too far away though
