Where can I find any info or pictures of the 1988 40th Anniversary Comemorative Edition Lotus Esprit Turbo? I sat in one (#9 I believe) and I just loved it! the white with the blue interior, the car fit like a glove, all the controls and everything where I like them! I'm definately buying one after college.

Wow three of them! Good to see they aren't hard to find, that'll make buying one in 6 years alot easier

Thank you for your replies!

I think when you decide to look you will discover they are very hard to find and finding one in tip top condition even harder. Best of luck. Very nice cars though you are obviously a man of taste.

Hi Fan,

It is time for your travel to Belgium and open your wallet.
Look at www.lotusespritworld.com/sale.html and dream
I have absolutely no affiliation, interest,... but I have seen this car at the last Lotus day of the Belgian club and it is in perfect state (even better than mine (some stones chips,... damned...) The price seems fair to me specially for such a model (I know all esprit are rare but this series is really different). I don't know the reason for selling it but in the club the esprit are always behind the Elise on the small belgian roads and some Lotus owner are changing their mind. I still believed that Esprit is the best one but the elise is so fun to drive I understand both opinions. People who got the 2 (Esprit and Elise) always never come with the esprit which they keep as a excellent souvenir and beautiful car for some "ballade" on sunny days...when they speak about sports car the Elise come first
Have a good day

Ben

I wish I could buy it, but I just can't right now. I'm a college student studying towards a degree in Mechanical Engineering. College=Lots of money. I won't have the money for the Esprit until after then, but I can keep dreaming until then, right? I'm sure there's plenty of people here who were/are in the same boat, so to speak
