Not sure where they ding-ding-ding-sounder is on the Ka, on my old Sierra it is mounted behind the instrument binnacle and looks just like a relay module.
Now the dash light only comes on 50% of the time when Im using my side lights grrrr. My Hilliers manual arrived yesterday, I might spend xmas dismantling my car!!
(anyone in Yorkshire I might need a hand putting it back together )
Its mounted on the back of the fuse panel drivers side of the dash , one side you have the fuses and on the back you have the relays , one of them is white with slats in it , thats the beeper to tell you your lights are on .
