In a word,No.
The offset is no good for the front(25 is needed),the 5 stud pattern is no good, and you'd be better off with a smaller front than rear(say 17inch),to help keep the natural rake of the car, although some do fit 18" to the front. Also, why not fit 9" rims on the rear, then you can fit 255's,or even 265's with a 40mm offsetsmile
For a good size reference,i have fitted 18x9 rears et40,and 17x8 fronts et25.This allows 265x35 rears and up to 235x40 front tyressmile

Assuming you have wider rims on the front (with 235 tyres), does the ET25 still fit happily, I thought ET30ish was normally used (off top of head wink) ?

Mine are 215's on an 8" et25,and i told the nice chap at Compomotive i might want to go to 235's and he still sold me et25's - it certainly looks like a 235 will still fit well.I also know a man who uses 235's on his smile

For the love of God, don't encourage him. Any day now I expect to see the first TVR with a shopping list down the door and under car neons.

Innit.
