XJ40 bulb failure module - what is that?

As the title says, what exactly is an "bulb failure module" for a single headlight model XJ40?

Also - can anyone tell me the correct name and, ideally, part no. for the 'dim/dip' headlight control module - please see my 2 other recent XJ40 threads.
