Hello all. I shall be visiting friends in Leeds city center on Friday evening however I am not prepared to leave my car at hyde park due to a previous experience involving a mindless idiot and my soft roof!

Can anyone recommend a good 24hr car park in the center that is secure and more importantly somewhere you would be happy to leave your pride and joy.

Thanks

Under the arches near the Hilton (brewery wharfe) there is a 24 hour garage with attendants on all night I believe...£7 per 24 hours, looks a little strange, but its regularly used yes

Is this located just before you pass under the tunnel?

Thanks for the help. Always good to get a recommendation

As you go under the tunnel, its on the left (if you were headng with Hilton on the left!) I found it by mistake by turning left after Hilton and going through the tunnel

The Light is good too, 24 hours, and patrolled.

The Light is the nicest one in town by far, its nice and light inside, good security and hidden from the elements.

Another thumbs up for The Light. I seem to remember Simon George saying it's one of the few you can get a low-clearance car into. (multi-storey, that is)

ohh the tribulations of supercar ownership. smile

Another vote for the Light here. Simon actually recommended it to me way back when he used to park his Ferrari in there. He has parked the Murci in there in the past too, so clearance isn't an issue. I've never had a problem using the Light and overnight parking isn't too expensive! thumbup

I've scraped the front lip of a car coming out of that car park paperbag

Having said that, it's still the carpark that I use when I'm in the centre of Leeds.

Yep the Light is the best I think. If you have a Lambo and ask nicely they will often let you park right outside the office where the bikes usually park. Just watch the high kerbs on exit and entry!
