It is a bespoke rack, I would speak to TVR Power but any competant rack refurber should be able to help you. On my previous Chim the seals went and I had it rebulit by Kelly Bray racks in Cornwall cost me £130 refinished with new boots etc.

I think a new rack is in the region of £700.

There is a company called AMK Automotive Ltd.
I have dealt with them at the motor factors that i have worked for.
They are quite big in the motor factor/aftermarket world.
They do power rack reconitioning, But, they don't deal with the public.
If you ring them i'm sure they will tell you who the nearest motor factor they deal with is.

Thanks for the help.
I found a company called DDR Steering, Drighlington near Bradford. They lubricated and crimped up the tie rod, which took all the play out. Took 5 mins. and cost me £7.00.
They will full recondition any steering rack, he told me it would cost about £110.00 for a full TVR power rack rebuild, and a one day turn round. They also recondition power steering pumps, brake disc skim etc. Tel. 0113 285 2563

This thread is timely as, during my periodic wheels-off-look-see today, I spotted oil from my NS steering rack gaitor. Seal has certainly gone (judging by the amount of fluid) but I'm hoping the repair is covered on remaining Motorplan warranty
