Barge problems

Well the love affair with my bargain barge (E34 525i SE) is still continuing although, the technician at BMWorx is currently swearing at it as he tries to remove the faulty heater matrix (which apparently there is a variety of and i've got the most awkward one of the lot).
It's been an ongoing issue for a while with me nursing it through the last couple of months by topping up the coolant on a regular basis. However on Friday it started to emit steam from all the vents in the car. Which although not life threatening was a bit disconcerting!
So it's in there and i'll preparing myself for a £300+ bill just before Christmas. I'll console myself with the fact that at least it will leave their premises nice and clean.
Oh yeah and I had to have a new tyre on it last week as well.
