Door popping open

My passenger door kept opening today as I was driving along. Apparently it was the cold that made the cable contract and when it went over a pothole it would pull the lever down.

Anybody else had that?

Sadly yes, first time a bout 4 years when going around a roundabout, driver door flew open, once I pulled myself back in (just kidding!)I stopped and banged the catch and it has only hapened once since! All part of the fun,

Sometimes it can be the pad ( it may have fallen off) where the central locking pin sensor hits. If its not hitting correctly it will operate over bumpy roads. eg push your door when closed near the bottom and you will hear the actuator. Also maybe worth checking the catch on the door pillow aswell as it may have droped.
