May have been covered before but what is Beausjour camping like. Past few years have always camped in Bleu, but seems to be fully booked up. Cheers Dan.

I stayed in BSJ last year and it was perfect. Nice field that wasnt full of mud. Toilets near by from most areas. Only thing is there was a 15-20min walk to get to the entrance. But it depends on what you want to do. We only used it to sleep at the rest of the time we were watching the action. So the walk wasnt a problem. Plus its far enough around from the entrance so you can dive to Arnarge for dinner without getting stuck in traffic.

Im not sure if it was just last year, but the queue to get out took over an hour to do 300 meters. But I understand that the traffic last year was really bad because of the rain, everyone left early.

+ Next to the Porsche Curves so a close, 5 min away viewing area.

+ Can have big pitches. Roomy.

- 20 min walk to the main area in the baking sun (2006) or the pissing rain (2007).

- Cheap.

- Gets very busy. Never stops expanding but never bothered me.

Beausejour is all good. Lots of room (normally) and ok it's a little walk up to the village but realistically, how many times will you do that in a day? There and back only probably but there is a shuttle bus if you are feeling lazy. Plus you get to see the nice kit cruising about and it's a sneaky trek through the trees to one of the fastest points of the track too.
