Hi, just picked up a 96 Cerbera Rolling Chassis for a Project. Can anybody give some advice on the steering rack and the diff i.e. where do they come from. I want to change the power steering to manual - need to know what fits. Just interested in OEM of Diff - should I need to change/rebuild it. Thanks.

Power steering rack is bespoke TVR.

Interesting project... I guess you'll be shortening the chassis to get an Allegro over the top of it.

The diff is definitely a B.T.R unit.Just for the record G.K.N is a British company.Apart from the various engineering parts it manufactures, its primary business is the Warrior A.P.C for the armed forces.

The 4.6 isn't a Rover, it's a crate motor from Ford (via Rover) along with a 5 speed 'box.

I'm pretty sure you'll locate some in the UK but in case you don't I have a pretty decent set which I'm sure we could strike a deal for if necessary.

If you dont know already, the PCD of the wheels is the same as alot of Jap stuff, Mazda, Lexus etc, You could maybe get a set of those easier/cheaper? As styling is maybe not that paramount? smile
