whiny whiny winger

My Ford KA has started whiining badly, i know its the power steering motor, but i have had no expirence in this area. There was a letter in "honest john" in the motors section of the tellegraph. The person there had been quoted £850 for new steering rack and pump, i would be able to buy a newer KA with less milage for this money..... Any help anyone??

Have you checked your power steering fluid levels? Might be cheaper!

Just booked it in for two new mcpherson struts, full set of pirelli P6000, some EBC pads, new Ht leads, Sparks, Coil, all the fluids steering, brakes, oil and filter, new air filter, wheel alignment cost me £675 notes...... but at least it will be good for another 30k...... 76k on clock at moment, mine only has 5 digits so would like to clock it really...... looks like i am putting the Civic type r on hold for a few more months......
