Has anyone got a high performance bike engine to run on hydrogen?

How do costs compare to petrol assuming £5/gallon and an average of 20mpg?

I think getting H in compressed bottles is reasonably expensive, as is having a all the bits needed to get a license to store it.

I mean hydrogen gas in a tank. There are very few pumps in the UK but I was curious to know what sort of performance you'd get from a bike engine by burning hydrogen.

Some of the car manufacturers do it already but the big bike companies seem to be going down the fuel cell / electric power route.

Personally, I want to keep the noise of the bike engine :-)
