Well I use mine everyday and I must say that she's been good as gold all this week - as long as you keep the revs down and are smooth on the throttle and brakes.

The only 2 gripes I have is that my rear dimister isn't quite up to the job - I blame the tints taking heat away from the inside - outside is as clear as you like. And the front windows sticking when it's really icy - which is a b*gger as the door pops whilst the window is still fully up and from then on you cant do anything about it except defrost the window with hot water. If you're lucky, you can get the door to shut with your backside and try again otherwise it's forcing the window pass the A pillar trim so that you can get inside to operate the windows manually. Need to get in my shed and find some deicer to keep in the boot!

I used some RainX wipes on the inside of the windscreen and side windows, which has so far prevented them from misting up. I wasn't feeling athletic enough to squeeze in the back to put on the rear window, so instead I've chucked a couple of small packs of silica gel into the small recess on top of the helmet hole. They attract a lot of moisture and the window demister no longer seems overwhelmed.

Mines in hibernation in an aircon'd, dehumidified, heated garage - 'tis better than my house! Its started up every other week or so but apart from that wont see the light of day until march time.

I know some people disagree with not using them but I dont like the idea of the damp and salt getting near it, plus I dont want to put the miles on it when I cant be driving it 'properly'

I'm pretty sure I got mine in Halfords. Was a while back though so not 100% certain.

Yes you can - same company that does rain-x also does anti-fog in a bottle - not tried mine yet though!
