Whilst attending the Desert Challenge in the UAE in November it was a case of right place right time.

Thought to myself - he's coming a bit quick for the ruts that are marked in the road book as a triple caution.

Lifted the camera and pushed the button.

I was pleased with myself as instinct obviously took over - the first one was shot at 180mm, the second last at 100mm.

Ended up with a double page spread in Trial Bike Mag - first pages after their index. It's in the shops now if you want to have a shufty.

He did get up and finish - complete with a couple of broken ribs..

I remember you posted a series of these back when it all happened with a bunch of other cars. Right place right time, but you should still be proud because as you say your instinct took over and you got the result!

Congrats on getting published!

Well done and great shots! Must be a real buzz getting published...

Can I ask how you protected your camera from the dust - if at all?

Dust - one of the problems of working in the desert I'm afraid.

Had to clean the sensor every couple of days due to changing lenses in the field. Even though I generally changed them in the back of the car it still got in.
