The PH fantasy shareholding competition!!
Discussion
Recently I discovered a site on shareholding. Basically you start with 100000 quid, choose some shares(anything on the FTSE I think)and see how much money you can make on them. It must be pretty realistic, as I've made a bit of a loss so far!

If loads of PH'ers start up accounts, we should compare stock choices and see who can make the most. Without wishing to sound like a teacher, it could be fun and educational (in case anyone has always wanted to do it in real life)
I picked:
Admiral Group
Carphone Warehouse
Game Group
Unilever

Dragon Oil is my little gem at the moment. Hoping for some big things in the new year. I can't be bothered to set up an account either though; i'm too lazy
Just keep an eye on them if you like (I bought in at 290p by the way and can provide prrof for any doubters).

The problem with these competitions is that people are likely to take more risks than they would in their real portfolio in an effort to win the contest. So while I think it would be good fun I'm not sure it would be educational.http://www.bullbearings.co.uk

I bought DGO at 190 and sold at 250 (roughly) I'm now too heavily invested in Tullow (a similar company with people sniffing around) too get back into dragon.

I saw on The Naked Trader website another share (New British Palm Oil:NBPO) a new issue on the 17th at about 280, closed today at 355. It's to do with biofuel and looks quite interesting, just the spread's killing it today.
