Bluetooth / Blackberry help!!

Hi,
I have a Range Rover Vogue SE and a Blackberry 8800. Typically Land Rover does not do a cradle for Blackberry's and the Bluetooth on the 8800 is not compatible. Only the Pearl works!!
Spoken to Land Rover and they simply say that their technical department are constantly working on updating etc. etc. but basically nothing you can do.
Has anyone had an experience with this? Surely there is a way the software can change so that they speak to each other. The thought of putting in a hands free kit when it’s all built is crazy.
Anyone with technical know how about Blackberry phones - please help!
