Front Bottom ball joints

I understand these are a Lada item, however there's mention on the alternative parts list that the 768 doesn't fit S1/S2. Does this mean it will fit a V8S ?

hi chris ive just bought all the steering joints and swivels the bottom swivels are from a fiat 124/125/132 and are quintin hazel qsj 765s mine cost £8.15 plus vat i have tried it and it fits ok if you want the other nos i have them ken

Have you found a standard part for the two UJs? I thought they were a mongrel, but it would be handy to know if there's a standard replacement.

Not sure if this is any use but Rally Design do a "Sierra column coupling > Escort spline".

I have just replaced all the ball joints on my V8s, i got some ball joints which were as per the S series list which for the Lada but didnt fit,(probably fit S1 and S2, antbody need a pair as I have some sat in the garage) I eventually got a pair from my local unipart supplier. Cat no FPSFBJ5050.

Also if its any help the tie rods, Cat No FPSFTR4040

Upper ball joints came from "Andrew Page" cat No TC125

If needed I replaced the steering gaiters while it was all in bits and found the a universal kit Cat No DUG1 from "Andrew Page" fit really well.

Not sure how far your going but again while it was in bits I replaced the front suspension bushes with a kit from Superflex, would recommend as all fit with no problems.

No but the steering rack body is Vauxhall Chevette if it helps.

sean ive just bought mine and there are 2 types 1 has a ridge down the middle and is easy to get i have the pt no its 6175961 which is a standard ford part at £8.52 a pr+ vat if you have the type with no ridge you will need to go to a ford shop and have a look on the screen but i think yours will be the ridge type

pete cant help for sure with the uj but the alt part list shows them as being gkn hs160 ..moprod uj102...or q/h 161103 so i would think they are a standard part
