2000 Mondeo clutch swap

Hmm started to slip now, I have looked on the 'net and it seems that most think it is subframe off.
But the haynes manual says it can be done either by dropping the subframe,with engine and box on, or by undoing the box and moving it aside.

Anyone with any experience??

You dont say which model you have but after changing quite a few i find the best way is to drop the subframe on the nearside and push the gearbox over onto it. Its not the horror story to do that some people make out .
