Factory Open during holiday ?

Hello, My name is Jon and I am from the USA. I am ready to order a GTR kit. I emailed the factory with my specs but did not receive a reply. Here in the states many manufacturing companies are closed until after Jan 1. Is the Ultima factory closed for the holidays, or does it just take some time for Ted to reply?

Hey Jon,
Welcome to the madness. I am nearly done with my kit (est Feb) and live in San Diego. I see you're in So Cal. You're welcome to come by any time you'd like to see the car.

I have found that Richard is the one that usually replies to emails. He has been hugely helpful to me during the build. Remember that they are 8 hours ahead of us so there is a lag for the replies, but they have always been very prompt in their replies. We should talk your kit order through before you place it so that you don't run into the shipping expense of other things that you want down the road. Freight costs for these extras are a killer from the UK. Ask me about my tow hooks that I'm $300 proud of for $10 in Aluminum.

We have a few other GTR's here in SD for you to talk to too.

I talked to Richard on Friday the 21st and he indicated that they will be closed through the week between the holidays. Kodabear welcome to the Ultima world. I also live in So Cal in Ventura County. Paul is absoultley right on, about his advise. Shipping from England is exspensive make sure you order all that you want because as an example I have a single $76 part that cost $80 to ship.
