Is it worth breaking a Vitara for parts?

Might be more at home in GG, but thought i'd give it an audience here. About a year or so ago my Grandfather drove into the side of someone's Suzuki Vitara and bent the door and the sill enough that it is probably written off. Because of his high excess, GF decided to buy it off the chap rather than claim as the damage to his car was pretty non-existent (and he doesn't drive it anymore, thanfully).

This Suzuki is now sat at the bottom of his driveway rotting, so I wondered if there is a market for used parts for these things or not. Is it worth my while taking a socket set and an angle grinder to it to try and make him a few pounds out of it, or are new parts so cheap that it isn't really worth it. I had a look on ebay and there seems to be a couple of bits and pieces, but I can't tell from there whether people actually want to buy them or not. Either way, i'm quite keen to take it apart. I am a PHer after all.
