I've just been checking out nobleforums and came across this for this for sale.

It didn't sell and he will accept $78k. Anyway, the main point of me posting is the spec it's supposed to have. 0-60 in 2.5 secs, 0-100-0 in 8 secs and a top speed of 200+mph.

I assume yours is the proven fastest M400 in the world? If that M400 in USA could get even close to the performance stated, $78k would be a bargain.

Any idea what your 0-60 and 0-100 times are?

The world record for 0-100-0 is currently 9.4 seconds, set by a 720 bhp Ultima...how the heck can a car that weighs the same but has 170bhp less knock a second and a half off it?

Martin.

I think it was 0-60 in 2 and a bit seconds and 0-173 in 23 seconds, and vmax 187 but now has aero and more power, as i said if he want a race!

I noticed the "one of the fastest bit" but used "the fastest" when I saw the times.

Yes the reviews are all good but then it is an M400 so that's not a surprise smile

I think the points were "one of the fastest" and "street legal".
FWIW, the fastest Noble (without qualification) has to be Derek's
http://www.nobleforums.com/showthread.php?t=1428
And that one is not for sale smile.

An easy mistake to make, made often and rarely owned up to.
Good for you.

Its probably true to say Dereks car is the fastest "car that used to be a stock Noble" in the world and that Adrians is "the fastest in the UK".

in that ebay ad:

0 - 100 - 0 in 8 seconds, so 1.8 seconds faster than an ultima?! He must be doing a slow 100mph

Both of those comments have a definate limited shelf life. biggrin
As for the quoted performance figures, they are simply unachievable as has already been pointed out.
