Tues 8th January Meet - PH Warks and West Midlands
Discussion
There is bound to be a lack of enthusiasm this time of year, but for 2008, I was wondering if it would be better to have meets every 2 weeks?
I have seen this tried before and the benefits are: -
i) More people come to the meets overall as they have more choice of when to go
ii) Increased regional momentum. Monthly meets can seem too far apart and enthusiasm/momentum is lost.
iii) No more confusion about dates; as there would be a meet every other week.
iv) With a choice of 2 meets it would be easier to arrange one as a roadtrip/event/meal.
v) We could try different venues.
The Derbyshire Midlands Group have meets every 2 weeks, Nothants/Kettering meet weekly.
What do you think?

fortnightly sounds good , i may actually make one maybe :-)
Chris is my reasoning correct then?i.e. With bi-weekly meets it is easier to remember when a meeting is and with more choice the chances of being able to attend in any given month are better.
