Would this colour 355 be just about impossible to resell , hence the price.

I recall Clarkson really liking and wanting that verdi green when he bought his 355 some years back - he made it quite a big feature in one of his programmes but succumbed to red in the end...and regretted it!
I think it looks great too, perhaps it would look better with a more subtle interior colour like black but all these things are a personal choice.
Colour can affects prices, quite that much though I couldn't say, I'm no expert.
Go and see it, if it ticks all the boxes and pushes all the right buttons then buy it!
Edit to add - Sorry I've just assumed you are interested in buying it rather than actually understanding your original post simply questioning colour and resale
